Every glass surface inside the factory will be numbered and laminated. All efforts will be made to prevent the possibility of contamination of the product by broken glass pieces and eliminate the risk. All tubeIights, window panes, wall clocks and other glass items in the production areas are suitably protected against shattering with transparent film or replaced with stable plastic equivalents. All food items in the process stored in containers are covered to prevent the ingress of glass. Unauthorized glass items are not allowed in the factory or its premises.
Should any accidents occur, action will be taken on incidents of glass breakage as defined in the Glass Breakage Procedure. All concerned are adequately trained to manage the situation with the Glass Breakage Procedure.
